Overview

Responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the company's warehouse.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Experience and Education

• High school degree or GED with 0+ years of experience.
• Ability to obtain a forklift operating certification upon employment with M.C. Dean, Inc.

Abilities

• Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
• Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
• Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and all types of ladders.
• Performs routine and repetitive motions such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
• Possesses good vision (corrected if necessary), the ability to see in color, and can hear and communicate in English.
• May use a standard ladder while carrying tools, without exceeding weight limits.
• Recognizes when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, without necessarily solving the problem.
• Applies general rules to specific problems to produce sensible answers.
• Combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions, including recognizing relationships among seemingly unrelated events.
• Sees details at close range (within a few feet).
• Listens to and understands spoken words and sentences effectively.
