🧭 About the Role
As Captain, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient operation of the Hawker 900XP from preflight to shutdown. You’ll partner closely with your crew and dispatch/maintenance teams, deliver a refined customer experience for high-net-worth passengers, and uphold the highest standards of airmanship and discretion.
🧰 What You’ll Do- Plan, brief, and execute flights in full compliance with FAA regulations, company SOPs, and best practices.
- Lead risk management and decisive aeronautical decision-making with a strong safety mindset.
- Coordinate with crew, scheduling, and maintenance to ensure aircraft readiness and on-time performance.
- Navigate domestic and international airspace procedures; manage documentation, customs/immigration, and routing as required.
- Deliver attentive, discreet service to high-net-worth clients and during sensitive operations.
- Maintain accurate logs, flight releases, and operational records.
- Foster a professional cockpit environment and mentor fellow crew members.
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- PIC Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Turbine: 1,000 hours
- License: ATP (FAA)
- Medical:
First Class - Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, airspace procedures, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Customer-service focused with proven discretion working with high-net-worth individuals or sensitive operations.
- Valid passport; able to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Must live, or be willing to relocate, within one hour of KFCI (not a home-based position).
- Accepted Licenses: FAA only
- Hawker 900XP Type Rating preferred; company-sponsored training available for NTR candidates.
- 250 hours PIC in type highly preferred.
- Experience in Part 91 and/or Part 135 operations.
This is an on-site, aircraft-based role at KFCI (Richmond, VA area). You’ll be an integral part of a tight-knit team that values preparation, professionalism, and reliable service.
