Get started now with Bizerba! For our location in Richmond, VA we are looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator. From the Floor to the Flow—Lead the Logistics! We are seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator to support our Richmond, Virginia, location. Success in this role depends on strong teamwork and collaboration. We are seeking a quick learner with strong problem-solving and teamwork attributes.

In this position, you would be a key part of the Bizerba operation. A successful candidate will have a customer-focused attitude, drive continuous improvement projects, be a self-starter, and build a culture of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Assistance with unloading trucks and checking in shipments
  • Receive all returns (warranty/exchange/overstock) from customers, service partners, and technicians
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer
  • Control and be responsible for all receivables and outgoing freight, including the proper documentation, tracking, and reporting of any movement of goods (e.g., logs, records, management of documentation). Sort and place materials or items on racks
  • Must be able to sit or stand and lift to 75 pounds infrequently
  • Must be able to assist in the unloading of sea containers when applicable
  • Understanding of computer skills for shipping/receiving, record keeping, and transferring information
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the manager
  • Communicate effectively with others (internally and externally) in both written and verbal form
  • Assistance in counting physical inventory
  • Must be able to operate a forklift safely
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Two years of warehouse shipping experience preferred
  • Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Problem Solving – Able to investigate root cause and suggest workable solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
  • SAP knowledge is preferred, but not required
