Class B CDL Driver

Overview

Redbox+ of Northern Illinois is in search of a full-time and a part-time CDL class B driver to join our team. We are a small, family-owned business based in Richmond, IL. We offer a unique U.S. patented toilet and roll-off container combo and are looking for a friendly, respectful, and safe driver to provide exceptional customer service while working closely with the owners daily.

• Deliver Roll-Off/Portable Toilet Combination Containers to customer job-sites safely.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety inspections and scheduled maintenance of the truck according to DOT guidelines.
• Inspect redbox+ containers and other company assets daily.
• Flag any identified issues to management promptly.
• Use company software to complete daily deliveries and pickups.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and homeowners.
• Maintain an excellent reputation for on-time delivery and pickup; “On Time, Every Time” is the Redbox+ promise.
• Speak with customers and homeowners to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with project managers.
• Log Driver Hours as required by DOT guidelines.
• Empty containers at disposal sites.
• Clean and service portable toilets; sanitation license training will be provided if not certified.
• Tarp containers during transports.
• Empty wastewater tanks at disposal sites.
• Maintain positive and profitable relationships with redbox+ customers, contractors, homeowners/property owners, and vendors at tipping locations.

• Excellent time management to ensure on-time performance.
• Safely operate vehicle in all weather conditions.
• Navigate high-traffic roads, driveways, and tight overhead environments.
• Highly skilled backing and maneuvering as needed.
• Professional interactions with customers; maintain courteous behavior to all members of the public.

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must provide a current driver’s license and access to driving record; good driving record.
• Valid/Current Class B CDL.
• Pass a background check and drug tests before and during employment.
• Legally able to work in the US.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with the McHenry & Lake County area.
• One year roll-off driving experience preferred.
• Pay is based on experience.
