Truck Driver CDL A Regional Solo

Position Overview

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver in Richmond, VA. Join our team and drive solo routes across the region.

• Weekly pay: $1505 or more per week.
• Solo miles pay: $0.65 per mile with 2200 miles per week.
• Sign–on bonus: $1250 at 30 days and $1250 at 90 days.
• Paid training and 24/7 roadside maintenance.
• Weekly schedule:
  Sunday – Friday; start time: 9:00 pm.
• Uniform, cell phone and boot allowance provided.
• Paid personal time off starts at day 1 – 80 hours accrued in first year.
• Medical, dental, vision start at 30 days.
• 12 weeks paid maternity leave for qualifying employees.

• Route:
  Regional – VA, PA, MD, OH, CT, NJ, ME, DE, NC & NY.
• Tractor type:
  Sleeper, refrigerators and inverters.
• Trailer type:
  Dry van & Reefer 53’.
• Freight:
  No touch – food goods.
• Endorsements:
  Hazmat preferred; we reimburse cost and provide training to obtain endorsements.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, DOT physical and road test.
• Provide appropriate Class A CDL and required endorsements.
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years OR 2 years within last 5 years OR 5 years within last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, read and apply laws, rules and regulations.

• Ensure compliance with federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards while maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Load or unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
