Tucker Door & Trim boasts an ever‑growing fleet of tractor‑trailers making regular deliveries to wholesale customers throughout the southeastern United States, including Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and DC.
We have immediate openings for Class A CDL drivers and want you to join our team of drivers who have lifelong careers with us.
ResponsibilitiesTransport finished goods and raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items, and safety issues, perform pre‑trip, inter‑trip, and post‑trip inspections.
Ensure that delivery schedules are delivered as scheduled.
Retain all necessary documents for each trip.
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods).
Ensure compliance with Tucker Door and Trim safety and company policies.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Immediately report defects, accidents, or violations.
18 months of proven truck driving experience within the last 36 months.
Hands‑on experience with electronic equipment and software.
No major moving or driving violations within the last year.
18 months of class A commercial driving experience.
- Pay based on experience. Minimum starting pay $30.00 per hour. Weekly overtime over 40 hours at 1 1/2 times of hourly base payrate.
- Paid by the hour.
- Pay based off of ELD.
- Layover per diem ($100 per layover).
- No more than two nights out per week.
- Paid hotel on layovers.
- Monday thru Friday (no weekends).
- New model equipment.
- Dedicated runs.
- Paid training.
