Dispatch Specialist - 2nd Shift

Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
GXO Logistics is constantly seeking talented individuals who can deliver high quality service within a supportive and productive environment.
What you’ll do on a typical day- Facilitate professional communication with our drivers over the phone and an On-Board Computer System (OBCS)
- Perform essential AS‑400 functions to maintain our computer systems
- Communicate issues with both internal and external customers
- Complete thorough documentation of all issues involving drivers and loads
- Perform regular, thorough fleet scans to proactively catch and correct issues
- Ensure a high level of on‑time service is maintained
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Knowledge of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and U.S. and Canadian geography
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and AS‑400
- The ability to type 25 words per minute
It would be great if you also have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Transportation and call center/customer service experience
Solid attention to detail and follow‑up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems - The motivation to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to work collaboratively and get along with diverse personalities
- Solid organizational, project and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask and manage customer expectations
