- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, reusable, and maintainable applications that handle large amounts of data.
- Take full ownership of work from development and testing to deployment and production support.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers, and leadership.
- Be a trusted team member in matters of technical architecture, design, and code.
- Advocate for evolution and improvement—both technical and non‑technical, including new technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university or college.
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting common database issues.
- 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and optimizing views, stored procedures, and functions using T‑SQL.
- Familiar with tools that aid SQL profiling and performance tuning.
- Expertise in database design, complex T‑SQL programming, performance tuning, and index analysis.
- Facilitate discussions among database developers to exchange ideas and introduce new database technologies.
- Track record of commitment to prior employer.
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to both business and technical partners.
- Knowledge of advanced SSIS concepts to handle complex tasks like importing large files and loading data into a database.
