Lead Full Stack Developer

Our client is seeking a highly energetic and collaborative Developer Lead with expertise in Angular, React Native, and Node.js to lead mobile and web portal development. This individual will be responsible for participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle within the Digital Technologies organization, supporting a leading healthcare provider in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare space and demonstrate a proven ability to make decisions, manage risks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Technical Leadership:
  Lead the technical delivery, deployment, optimization, support, and defect fixes for mobile and web portals.
• Development & Maintenance:
  Own the development and maintenance of complex components of information systems.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
  Create unit tests, resolve and retest defects, and ensure proper system testing is performed.

  Mentor and coach team members on development best practices and technical problem-solving.
• Collaboration:
  
  Align with architects, team leads, and IT leadership to develop technical solutions and ensure delivery commitments are met.
• System Performance:
  Troubleshoot performance and other system issues, implementing solutions for optimization.
• Code Reviews & Standards:
  Define and enforce application coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate with peers, review complex change and enhancement requests, and evaluate changes for scope and impact.
• Documentation:
  Document functional/technical requirements and design solutions based on business objectives.
• Customer Relationship:
  Build and maintain active relationships with customers to determine and prioritize business requirements.

  Partner with other IT teams to ensure successful integrations and facilitate smooth implementations.
• On-Call Support:
  Participate in on-call application support and respond to issues as needed.
• Effective Communication:
  Communicate complex technical solutions clearly to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent technical training or work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Angular 7.0 or above, Node.js and React Native.
• Proficient in web services (REST/SOAP) and API development.
• Solid experience with Elastic DB and Java.
• Deep understanding of Angular
  
  JS practices and commonly used modules.
• Experience in developing SEO solutions for single-page applications (SPAs).
• Expertise in CSS and JS methods for creating performant visual effects with smooth framerate (30fps or higher).
• Thorough understanding of platform responsibilities, databases, APIs, caching, proxies, and web services.
• Experience in writing non-blocking code and using advanced techniques like multi-threading when necessary.
• Proven ability to create reusable modules and components extending core Angular elements.

• Prior experience working in the healthcare space is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with performance optimization and complex system troubleshooting.

Relevant certifications in Angular, Node.js, React Native, or related technologies are beneficial but not required.
