We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Logistics Services Consultant in an international setting. After completing training in Richmond, Virginia, the successful candidate will be deployed to a location overseas, where they will play a vital role in supporting our field personnel and engaging in missionary work. About the Company

Since 1845, International Mission Board has served Southern Baptists in carrying out the Great Commission, sending and supporting missionaries who share the gospel and make disciples among the nations. Today, more than 3,500 IMB missionaries work with churches and global partners to continue this steadfast commitment.

Responsibilities

The Logistics Services Consultant will be responsible for:

• Representing Christ to the lost in their community and taking an active part in the accomplishment of the strategic plan of the local team, which includes building relationships with local community members, sharing the gospel, and participating in evangelism and discipleship efforts
• Overseeing the purchase or rental, assignment, maintenance, disposal, and appropriate location of property, houses, and vehicles for assigned teams
• Approving international travel expenses as specified by policies
• Assuming general responsibility for all legal matters and advising assigned teams and logistics team members on such matters
• Facilitating the securing of appropriate visas, permits, and other documents related to the geographical area of responsibilities
• Directing importation and exportation of both company and personnel's belongings, including freight to/from the field and importation of vehicles

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

• Be an active member of a Southern Baptist Church or Canadian National Baptist Convention church
• Have a strong commitment to the mission and values of the International Mission Board
• Be willing to relocate overseas for an extended period
• Have a passion for sharing the gospel and making disciples of all nations

Skills Needed

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work and build relationships in a cross-cultural environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
