DAS Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

Our client specializes in 4 major telecommunications categories: LMR (Land Mobile Radio), IBS (In‑Building Systems and IDAS), ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and Physical Security.

Our client has a number of in‑building projects that will be undertaken over the next few years, including the construction and maintenance of in‑building wireless access points. They currently support projects in the Federal, State and Local government, education, transportation, venues/stadiums, and healthcare fields.

This position focuses on the Richmond, VA market where MCA is supporting DAS/low‑voltage installation, maintenance, RMA, public safety, fiber, coax, ODAS/IDAS, new builds, existing campuses, hospitals, schools, stadiums, etc. The technician provides day‑2 support after system turn‑up and is responsible for long‑term customer systems, RMA work, and maintenance for legacy DAS networks.

Responsibilities include DAS maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and warranty support across major university campuses, stadiums, commercial buildings, and public‑safety environments.

Travel is required, with overnight stays up to 4 nights at a time, returning on weekends. Resources must be open to traveling and overnight stays to the TN market.

The role includes an on‑call rotation every 6‑8 weeks and a 40‑hour work week with overtime opportunities.

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract‑to‑Hire position based in Richmond, VA.

Pay range: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour.

This position is anticipated to close on Mar 10, 2026.

Fully onsite position in Richmond, VA.

Resources will drive a company vehicle, hotels will be covered, and a $65.00 per day per diem will be provided.
