M. Davis Landscape & Design Inc. is hiring a full-time Bulldozer Operator for the upcoming busy season. The ideal candidate will have experience operating John Deere 650 Dozer XLT and be ready to join our hardworking team. Residential and commercial experience is required for this position. • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience operating Bulldozer (John Deere 650 Dozer XLT).
• Ability to final grade (fine grading).
• Team player.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Must be able to work with deadlines while maintaining good attention to detail.
• Experience with Topcon GPS equipment is an asset.
• Must have own transportation.

• Ensure all work is completed to Canadian Landscape Standards.
• Responsible for assisting the foreman in the daily completion of quality activities and tasks.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections electronically for all equipment checks prior to using the equipment through mobile device.
• Ability to read and understand Utility Locates.

• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and machinery, including greasing and fluid levels.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including keeping the machine and cab clean.
• Work in a way that will not endanger yourself or others.
• Understand the hazards associated with tasks and controls in place.
• Participate in Pre-job Safety Assessment (PSA) daily, and weekly toolbox safety talk.
• Use equipment, protective devices, PPE, and clothing based on legislation, and Davis Landscaping safe work practices and safe job procedures.
• Report all incidents, defects, unsafe conditions, and unidentified hazard to your supervisor.
• Do not remove or interfere with any safeguards.
• WHMIS, 4 Step Health & Safety Awareness, Workplace Violence & Harassment for Workers, and AODA.
• Adhere to all OHSA regulations, M. Davis Landscape & Design Inc. Health and Safety policies and procedures, and comply with site specific rules.

This is a full-time position. Remuneration is based on qualifications and experience.
