HVAC Service Technician (Commercial / Industrial)

Location: Richmond, VA

Schedule: Full-time |
Monday–Friday, 1st shift

Occasional on-call nights and/or weekends as needed

We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support commercial and industrial facilities
, with strong preference for candidates who have worked in data center environments
. This role focuses on service, repair, and maintenance of complex HVAC systems—not residential work.

• 3–5+ years servicing HVAC systems in commercial or industrial settings (Data center experience highly desirable)
• Strong job stability — consistent work history is important
• Proven troubleshooting skills across HVAC, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions in the field

• Service, diagnose, and repair commercial/industrial HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and document all work accurately
• Test electrical circuits, controls, piping, and connections
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues and resolutions
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and mobile reporting requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman or Master HVAC License preferred
• CFC/EPA certification preferred
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Must pass drug screening and background check
• Clean driving record required
