RAM Equipment is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Richmond, SA
. This is a full-time position where you’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. This role will be primarily based in our Richmond workshop, with occasional field service work as required.

• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on diesel-powered machines and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns promptly
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Uphold a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment
• Carry out mechanical/hydraulic/ electrical repairs to a diverse range of equipment

• Trade or technical qualification in Diesel Mechanics (Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent required)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic, ideally within construction, mining, or industrial sectors
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
