Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician
Earthborne, Inc. is an authorized distributor for JCB, Rayco, Morbark, and other construction and forestry equipment lines in the Eastern United States, providing top quality products and services since 1976.
Due to an increase in business, Earthborne is seeking Field Service Technicians who enjoy traveling. These positions will be based out of Warrington, PA but will be in the field ninety-nine percent traveling to other locations (generally out-of-state and for days / weeks at a time) when necessary to fulfill job requirements. Much of our customer base is located east of the Mississippi River.
Your training will be provided on a one on one basis in the field by a senior technician. All travel expenses are paid for by the company.

- Excellent job security! Each machine is sold with a 5-year maintenance contract
- Travel to other locations when necessary to fulfill job requirements
- Build relationships with customers
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Train operators in the proper daily and periodic machine care and operation of the machine
- Repair machines as needed
- Be the ‘face’ of Earthborne to our valued customers and their field employees
- Service regular customers in accordance with long-term service contracts. Visit each machine four times a year
- Be willing to travel 3 weeks out of the month
- Customer service experience
- 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment or similar
- Experience working on tree care or forestry equipment preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Good communication skills
- Competence with hand, air and electrical tools
- Ability to consistently repair components and equipment in line with manufacturer's standards
- Must be self-motivated and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and handle responsibility to make field decision
- Own Basic Tools for equipment repair
- Must have a good driving record. CDL not required but a plus
