Access Control Installation Technician - Richmond, Virginia

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Access Control Installation Technician to join our growing team in Fort Lauderdale. In this hands‑on role, you'll be responsible for installing and configuring access control systems in a variety of commercial environments, including hospitals, warehouses, schools, and office buildings.

You'll work with industry‑leading platforms such as Genetec
, Lenel
, and Software House
, ensuring secure and reliable access solutions for our clients.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot access control systems (Genetec, Lenel, Software House)
• Run and terminate cabling (low‑voltage, network, and power)
• Mount and wire door hardware, readers, panels, and controllers
• Perform system testing and commissioning
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and accurate installations
• Maintain documentation and adhere to safety and compliance standards

• 2+ years of experience in access control or low‑voltage system installation
• Familiarity with Genetec, Lenel, and Software House platforms
• Strong understanding of commercial environments and security protocols
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
