Plumbing Foreman for HVAC Mechanical Company

Connect Talent Solutions is seeking a Plumbing Foreman for a leading mechanical contracting company specializing in providing top‑notch plumbing and HVAC solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential clients. As they continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreman to join their dynamic team.

Position Type: Full‑Time

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Lead and supervise plumbing teams on various projects, including new installations, renovations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate resources to ensure efficient project execution. Collaborate with project managers to ensure timelines are met.
  • Quality Control: Ensure plumbing installations and repairs comply with industry codes, standards, and company policies, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship.
  • Safety Oversight: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and practices, conducting regular safety meetings, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.
  • Material Management: Order and track materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects, ensuring proper inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address any technical challenges or issues that arise during projects, implementing effective solutions to maintain project progress.
  • Client Communication: Liaise with clients and project managers, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train junior plumbing staff, fostering skill development and promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including project reports, time sheets, material usage, and other relevant documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies, sharing insights and suggestions with the management team.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional trade certification or vocational training in plumbing preferred.
  • Journeyman and/or Master Plumber license strongly preferred active with DPOR.
  • Proven experience as a plumbing foreman or a similar leadership role in the plumbing industry.
  • 15+ years industry experience.
  • Current first aid and CPR training preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with clean driving record.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to pass drug screenings.
  • Ability to pass background checks, obtain security clearances and work where minor children are present.
  • Willingness to travel is a requirement.
  • Problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work in various environments and adapt to changing project requirements and/or extended work hours (nights, weekends) when necessary.
