The Apartment Maintenance Technician reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for assisting with the physical and mechanical upkeep of the property.

Responsibilities:
  • Promptly fulfill customer service requests
  • Conduct daily rounds to check mechanical equipment, recreational facilities, and safety concerns
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and heating system repairs
  • Prepare and turn over vacant units/suites
  • Maintain grounds and common areas
  • Perform light carpentry, drywall repairs, and touch-up painting
  • Assist with after-hours "on call" duties as assigned
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the interior and exterior of the property
  • Address safety hazards immediately (fire alarms, trip hazards, etc.)
  • Support the Facilities Manager to ensure property success
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • HVAC certification
  • Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and urgency in completing tasks
  • Ability to follow instructions efficiently
  • Friendly, professional attitude with prospects, residents, and colleagues
