Security Officer - Driver Roving Patrolin Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide standout customer service through clear communication and quick problem solving.
This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Allied Universal is agile, reliable, and innovative, with a caring culture rooted in teamwork and integrity.
Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

- Provide customer service to clients at a technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, loading or dock areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, manage visitor check-in processes, and report irregularities per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and or emergency services as needed.
- Complete timely reports of patrols, incidents, and service requests, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
