Security Officer - Armed Afternoon

Allied Universal - Up to $16.00/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity;
Respond to alarms, calls for service, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or public agency responders;
Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization, screening prohibited items per post orders, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations;
Prepare clear incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation; maintain issued equipment and firearms in accordance with policies and laws
