** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to site protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed in the event of an incident or emergency.

+ Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential threats or hazards within the government location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
