The Position
Expand our reach – Serve clients in Punjabi & English!
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our services to better connect with Punjabi-speaking clients. We are seeking a Licensed Dealing Representative to play a pivotal role in building a new client base from the ground up by leveraging personal and professional networks. This role is focused on driving new business development through strategic initiatives, cultivating and strengthening client relationships, and managing the investment process with diligence, care, and professionalism

The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of product offerings, the investor subscription process, and the compliance regulations governing Exempt Market Dealers
.

In this role, you will directly contribute to expanding the company’s investment portfolio and driving long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Investment
Activities:
Execute investment activities aligned with the company’s business strategy and annual targets to maximize returns and achieve financial objectives. - Annual Sales Target: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy plan, to meet and exceed the annual sales target, ensuring sustained growth and profitability.
- Investor Relations: Direct and coordinate investor relations efforts, fostering strong relationships with existing investors and attracting new ones.
- Client Management
- Retention: Manage a dynamic pipeline of prospects and core clients by regularly updating CRM and communicating regularly to provide market trends. - Networking and Outreach: Expand the investor base through the organization of industry events via email communication, telephone, and sales presentations.
- Must have the entrepreneurial spirit to manage and build new clients through your own network, prospecting, referrals, seminars, etc.
- Proven success in sales and business development, preferably in the investment industry with at least 2 years of related experience.
- Must be fluent in BOTH Punjabi and English
- Must have the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Exempt Market Proficiency Course (EMP) license before the start of employment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CIM, CFP, and CFA will be an asset.
- Must be results-oriented and accountable for set targets.
- A degree in the areas of financial or sales management would be an asset.
