Summary

Commercial Sales Representatives prospect, present products and services to commercial customers, ensure proper documentation for sales agreements and proposals, engage existing customers, and communicate continuously with management.

What You’ll Do
  • Proactively schedule sales appointments with current and prospective customers.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales opportunities.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge and educate customers about our products and services.
  • Generate and track new leads to continue expanding the reach of the business.
  • Identify ways to market products to new customers, including identifying new target market segments/opportunities.
  • Uphold relationships with clients to ensure they remain satisfied, their questions are answered, and their needs are met.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of prospecting sales experience.
  • At least 1 year of outside sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
  • Proficiency in using social media to increase sales leads.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Technologically adept (tablets, smartphones, and computers).
  • Prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to meet sales goals.
