Sales Development Representative – Richmond, VA at TEKsystems

We’re looking to add to our sales team in Richmond, VA. TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, accelerating business transformation for customers worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Delivery team to identify top IT talent to fulfill client needs
  • Increase sales and market share through assigned and newly generated accounts
  • Identify, develop and manage new and existing customer relationships using resources such as Salesforce and Hoovers
  • Contact and meet with prospective customers to establish customer needs, hiring cycles, and build intimate relationships
  • Prepare and present sales information and effective proposals for customers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree OR Military experience OR Associate’s Degree with 3 years of professional experience OR 4 years of professional experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience OR a degree in sales OR sales internship experience OR active membership in a collegiate sales club/organization
  • Strong desire for a career in B2B sales
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for negotiations
  • Sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills, high standard of professionalism and character
  • Ability to overcome obstacles without becoming discouraged and collaborate to accomplish goals
  • Strong propensity to learn

The salary for this role is $60,000 plus weekly commission and performance‑based bonuses (quarterly and annual), and a monthly car and cell phone allowance.
Hourly training for the first 10 weeks.
