Traveling Store Display Associate/Merchandiser

General SummaryAssist individually and as a team with all operational tasks assigned by the Store Display Lead. Must travel to all project sites to ensure accurate and proper completion. Play a key role in merchandising and product placement, unloading and organizing merchandise, building and tearing down fixtures, setting schematics, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities- Participate in multiple renovation, new store, relocation, expansion, and other types of projects, ensuring completion to company standards and timelines.
- Merchandising and product placement.
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks, organize, and transfer to store.
- Build and tear down fixtures.
- Set schematics, zone a grams, and other merchandise templates.
- Clean project sites.
- Provide customer service.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Assist with all day‑to‑day store project activities as directed by the Store Display Coordinator/Lead.
- Ensure timely completion of all required project tasks in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate with Store Display Coordinator/Lead and other team members to support on‑site operations.
- Partner with and support other SDAs, Store Display Coordinators, and Leads as business needs dictate.
- Maintain a safe working environment at job sites.
- Implement new procedures, best practices, tools, and efficiencies for all projects.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel up to 100% of the time to specific project locations, including overnight travel.
- Work projects typically run on 14 consecutive day schedules; associates should expect to work up to 14 consecutive days per project.
- Must be able to drive and fly; requires a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Must work non‑traditional hours.
- Lift up to 60 lbs.
- Climb, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Effective communication skills.

- Work independently in a fast‑paced environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Strong project skills, managing multiple complex projects.
- Knowledge of sequencing and merchandising preferred.

- Interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building across levels.
- Manage personal and company travel expenses.
- Operates small power tools.
- Education:
Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. - Experience:
1‑3 years of related retail experience, preferably with retail store management. - Technical:
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications.
