A Style Consultant at Target focuses on delivering a guest-ready floor, strong operations, and compelling visual merchandising presentations to inspire guest self-discovery. The role emphasizes welcoming guests, meeting their needs on the sales floor and in the fitting room, and maintaining floor readiness with correctly priced and signed merchandise in the right sizes, styles, and colors.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirational and promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and to support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the sales floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute backroom organization to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price change processes and signage for clearance merchandising.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by routing merchandise from fitting rooms and guest services back to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Assist with guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up while complying with applicable laws.
• Greet guests and engage to help solve their needs; thank them for shopping with Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).
• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products; welcoming attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate across multiple devices, operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Effective communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capable of remaining focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks within established time frames.
• Accurate cash handling when needed; physically capable of climbing ladders and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds with or without assistance; ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions; flexible schedule with reliable attendance.
