Retail Merchandising Specialist

Overview

Retail Merchandising Specialist at BDS Connected Solutions, LLC. Works independently with retailers to install and maintain consumer electronics displays. Offers weekly pay, paid training, and a diverse range of assignments.

• Travel to assigned retail stores to conduct visits within your territory.
• Audit, maintain, and install displays for TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones.
• Partner with team members on 2–3 person projects such as appliance or TV installs.
• Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships.
• Complete assignments as directed by your BDS Manager.
• Report assignments on time using your personal mobile device.
• Schedule and complete work according to BDS Standards and Expectations.
• Receive and deliver materials to retail locations as requested.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Previous merchandising, customer service, or retail experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
• Proficiency with Android or iPhone and GPS for photo uploads and reporting.
• Basic toolkit ownership (BDS reimburses after probation).
• Ability to complete BDS online training on schedule.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States, 18 years or older.

• Flexible Monday–Friday early‑morning to midday; occasional weekend hours.
• Minimum 20 hours per week.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Travel within up to 60‑mile market radius (drive time and mileage reimbursed).

• Stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk, hear, and drive regularly.
• Regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds.
• Climb a ladder over 10 feet.
• Complete certification for moving equipment as needed.
• Occasional travel by flight or other modes of transportation.

USD $17.00 per year, with final compensation determined during the interview process and subject to applicable wage laws.
