OverviewThe Freight Flow Lead impacts both brand standards and teammate experience. Under guidance from the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is the in-store expert of their department, focused on delivering excellent customer service and providing direction and coaching to teammates. The ability to lead by example, be empathetic, resilient, optimistic, and collaborative sets them apart.
- Supports building and hiring a strong team through in-store interviews and department tours.
- Builds a people-first culture by connecting with teammates to foster trust, respect, and store recognition.
- Plans, organizes, and controls 30-days out with guidance, aligning workforce to execute daily tasks, projects, and store events.
- Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and delegate tasks based on priority.
- Assists with store supervision, including opening/closing, front-end and cash office functions, and firearms sales in compliance with regulations.
- Upholds merchandising and presentation standards per company policies.
- Trains teammates on procedures and programs, onboarding new hires and cross-training current staff.
- Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and explaining the 'why' behind tasks.
- Leads by example, aligning responsibilities with organizational goals and delivering a hassle-free shopping experience.
- Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.
- Adheres to safety, loss prevention policies, and confidentiality standards.
- Supports the team across the store as needed and performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Retail or customer-focused experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 15-50 lbs. repeatedly and work extended periods standing or walking.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with assistance or equipment.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or aerial devices.
