ResponsibilitiesSales and Customer Experience:
- Driving Sales: Utilize store data and feedback to exceed sales goals. Take ownership of your results and contribute to the store’s overall performance.
- Customer Experience: Deliver a world-class experience to every customer. Listen, ask open-ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and leave customers with a positive impression.
- Building the Brand: Educate customers on our brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging) and articulate these values in-store and through community events.
- Product Passion: Continuously expand knowledge of products, ingredients, and benefits to confidently recommend solutions for diverse customer needs.
Team Involvement:
- Development: Use available resources to develop sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and seek feedback and opportunities to improve.
- DEIB: Encourage open communication and collaboration, fostering a sense of belonging within the team.
Operational Excellence:
- Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and engaged. Take breaks as needed and stay updated on company news.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Stock and Inventory: Make real-time display adjustments based on sales to improve the customer experience.
- Policies and Procedures: Adhere to opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health & safety standards.
Required:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred:
- Experience with consultation-based customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills for day-to-day operations
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
Short Pump Pay: $15.50 USD per hour
Employment type: Contract | Hours: 0-39 hours/week
