Leasing Representative – Hyde Park Apartments
We are looking for an enthusiastic, seasoned Leasing Representative to join our team in Chester, VA. As the Leasing Representative, you’ll be responsible for all activities related to apartment rentals, move‑ins, and lease renewals, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing resident move‑ins.

Essential Responsibilities- Generate and handle traffic for apartment rentals, move‑ins, and lease renewals.
- Lease apartments and qualify prospects.
- Prepare lease documentation and complete move‑in procedures in accordance with company and community policies.
- Provide high‑quality resident service and convey service requests to maintenance staff.
- Demonstrate and lease apartments using effective selling techniques.
- Maintain thorough market knowledge, including competition analysis, and facilitate prospect generation through advertising and direct outreach.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the Property Manager.
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable housing laws.
- Minimum of two years’ sales/leasing experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service.
- High ethical standards.
- Strong problem‑solving and process‑improvement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple shifting priorities.
- Ability to work in a busy, changing, multi‑tasking environment.
- Attention to detail and strict deadline adherence.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Yardi experience strongly preferred. - Ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends, or holidays as necessary.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High School Diploma (preferred) or Associate’s degree (preferred).
