Quality Control Laboratory Analyst (Food Manufacturing)

This role is responsible for performing chemical, QC, R/D, and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications. This position requires hands‑on experience with analytical instrumentation, R/D, QC testing, and laboratory quality documentation within a food or manufacturing environment.

• Perform chemical, microbiological, and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Conduct routine quality tests including pH, water activity, alcohol, moisture, Brix, and total nitrogen.
• Operate and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Perform instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct microbiological testing using pour plate methods for total plate count, yeast & mold, and coliforms.
• Document results in QA/QC records, spreadsheets, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Report out-of-specification (OOS) results and support production teams with batch calculations and adjustments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, or related scientific field preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing, fermentation, or laboratory quality control.
• Hands‑on experience with analytical instrumentation and R/D testing.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and support cross‑functional teams.
