You efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with supervisor. This role requires you to apply your organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
How You Will ContributeYou will be responsible for all scientific administrative tasks including lab administration, housekeeping activities and working in accordance with laboratory-set quality standards. Because you will liaise with internal stakeholders, you will always demonstrate high quality customer service by ensuring that work is done on time, that the analytical data generated is reliable, and that the results are accurate and provided in a timely manner.
You will also assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation to ensure that only the most current versions are supplied to analysts. This role will require you to work at the highest standards of safety and quality, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and completing assigned quality actions in a timely manner.

- A relevant scientific discipline
- Competency in the use of generic and specific software packages required for the role including MS Office applications
- Basic lab equipment, preferably with work experience in a scientific environment
- Attending to detail, following written instructions and working on multiple activities concurrently
- Accountability, honesty, hardworking, flexibility and adaptability, and working efficiently on a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills

You must also review and approve records in a timely fashion, handle water and swab samples, and inspect equipment for cleanliness.
Education/ Certifications
High School Diploma or GED (Required).
Job Specific Requirements- Computer Skills required (Microsoft Office, SAP)
- Food Manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma experience (preferred)
- Experience in Quality Systems management in Food Industry (i.e. HACCP, FSSC, ISO) (Preferred)
Working on 2nd to 3rd shift. 2nd Shift – 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM; 3rd Shift - 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM
Salary and BenefitsThe base salary ranges for this position are shown below; the exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for over achievement based on performance and company results.
Base salary range: $55,000 to $60,000 USD
