Job Description SummaryWe have an immediate opportunity requiring a highly skilled Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist. The ideal candidate will hold a Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification and have experience ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards in construction or facilities projects.
Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
Oversee and implement QA/QC processes for construction and facility-related projects.
Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, including updating the QA/QC binder as needed.
Ensure compliance with Veterans Affairs and federal standards for quality management.
Conduct on-site inspections and audits 2–3 days per week in Norfolk, VA.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and maintain project integrity.
CQM Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors – USACE/NAVFAC or equivalent).
Proven experience in QA/QC roles within construction or government projects.
Strong understanding of federal quality standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to work on-site in Norfolk, VA (2–3 days per week).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience with Veterans Affairs projects or similar federal contracts.
Familiarity with QA/QC binders and documentation processes.
