We are hiring for Summer Camp Counselors. We are looking for Head Counselors (21 yrs and older) for our Outdoor Youth Programs. Spend your summer months in the outdoors teaching campers how to fish, kayak, rock climb, hike and more. Our Outdoor Adventure and Young Adventurers camp are the perfect fit for kids looking to learn new skills each day. Our main goal is to help campers build a positive relationship with the outdoors.

• Lead instructional activities in outdoor settings and oversee camp programs.
• Keep campers safe in the outdoors and model safe practices.
• Communicate with peers and camp parents regarding camper progress and needs.
• Help create a fun, engaging, and inclusive week for campers.
• Facilitate activities such as fishing, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and other outdoor skills as needed.

• Preferred work experience:
  Camp Counselor, School Teacher, Outdoor Educator, Bike Instructor, Raft Guide, or related roles.
• Helpful experience but not required:
  Knowledge of fishing, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and experience working with youth.
• Skills:
  
  Patient and reliable; experience working with children; familiarity with various outdoor activities; energetic and positive personality; safe driving record; valid driver’s license; ability to meet the physical demands of outdoor summer activities.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred for Head Counselors (if not certified, CPR class can be organized).

Pay:
Starting at $650.00 per week (pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications)
