Come join the diverse and fun Stony Point OBGYN team! In the OBGYN Clinic we work with a variety of Nurse Practitioners, Medical Doctors, and Midwives. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our clinic and play a key role in providing comprehensive healthcare to our patients. We care for patients across the life span and offer guidance and support with a wide range of women's health matters.

Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. No weekends, holidays or nights are required and our team members enjoy free onsite parking at our Stony Point campus.
Job OverviewThe LPN job commences to integrate technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. This role assists the health care team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. This role also provides direction, education, and begins to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
The LPN job delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care. This role safely administers prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions.
Licensure, Certification, and Registration Requirements for Hire- Licensure, certification or registration varies depending on the incumbent`s employment background and transitional assignment;
- LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible Licensure,
- Current LPN Licensure in Virginia AHA BLS Certification or equivalent
- Required:
Varies based on transitional duty assignment. - Preferred:
Experience as a LPN in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice.
- Required:
Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing. - Preferred: N/A.
Follows documented physician/licensed independent provider orders, standards, and practice guidelines such as treatments and organizes work to carry out assignment.
