Mayland Medical Center is located in the West End area of Richmond and home to a wide array of multispecialty providers. Our specialties include Family Medicine, Pulmonary, Endocrine, Nephrology, Infectious Disease, GI/Hepatology, Primary Care, and more, offering our team members the opportunity to gain a diverse skill set. We have 17 exam rooms at our clinic and see an average of about 80 patients per day.
We are a staff of RNs, LPNs, X-ray Technologists and Phlebotomists who are excited to add a new face to our team-oriented group of professionals. Our clinic hours are Monday–Friday 7am–5:30pm and no weekends, nights, or holidays are required. Enjoy free parking onsite.
- The LPN role integrates technical skills and theoretical knowledge to meet the needs of the patient and family. The role assists the health care team with prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort. It also provides direction, education, and begins to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
- Delivers and accurately documents direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care.
- Safely administers prescribed medications, identifying incompatibilities and/or interactions.
- Licensure, certification or registration varies depending on the incumbent's employment background and transitional assignment.
- LPN licensure in Virginia or eligible licensure.
- Current LPN Licensure in Virginia; AHA BLS Certification or equivalent.
- Experience
REQUIRED:
Varies based on transitional duty assignment. - Experience PREFERRED: Experience as a LPN in either an acute care setting or as applicable to area of practice.

Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing. - Education/training PREFERRED: N/A
Follows documented physician/licensed independent provider orders, standards, and practice guidelines such as treatments and organizes work to carry out assignment.
