Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full‑Time Pre Op PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care. As a Pre Op PACU RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well‑being of our patients before and after surgery.
Job Responsibilities- Primary focus on PACU
- Assess, instruct and prepare patients prior to surgery
- Administer medications and IV therapy as needed.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs and overall condition in the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Provide post‑operative care and support, including pain management and patient education.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in VA
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pre Op and/or postoperative setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Must have current BLS certification, ACLS certification is ideal.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous improvement.
