American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring prior CSICU/CVICU experience at a Level 1 facility and Epic proficiency, working night shifts in a cardiac surgery intensive care setting.

• Cardiac surgery intensive care unit (CVICU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR experience required — no exceptions

• Active RN license — VA state or Compact license required
• Minimum 12 months of CSICU/CVICU experience required
• Prior experience at a Level 1 facility required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school (ACEN or CCNE accreditation); diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted — BSN preferred
• 2 professional references from supervisor level or above required for consideration
• NURSYS or applicable license verification required for consideration

• Candidates must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 12 months
• This is a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus
• Natural nail policy is enforced at this facility
• Any time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application, as requests submitted after placement may be declined
