We're looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Richmond, VA. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide care in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment.
• Perform minor medical operations and advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain patient vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Provide basic bedside care.

• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and lift up to 20 pounds (up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients).
• Strong coping skills for a fast‑paced environment and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
