Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift CSU position in a progressive care environment, requiring a VA or compact RN license and relevant specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the CSU (Clinical Decision/Step-Down) unit of a hospital setting

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Patient population includes progressive care and telemetry-level cases

• 13-week contract assignment

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered

• Provide care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and clinical decision support

• Required to wear attire appropriate for hospital standards

• Must be able to manage a progressive care caseload independently

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as scheduled

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required

• Minimum of 1 year of recent specialty experience as an RN in a similar unit

• Current certifications required: BLS and NIH Stroke Certification

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

• References required: one professional reference unless otherwise specified by state

• US Social Security Number (no Canadian SSN) and date of birth required for consideration
