Telemetry Nurse - Nights Location

Richmond, VA

This is a 13-week contract position.

19:00 - 07:00

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will have an active Virginia or Compact Nursing License and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients on a telemetry unit.

• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using EKG and other monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and observe patients for any adverse reactions.
• Perform routine procedures such as small I&Ds and peritoneal dialysis.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

• 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Active Virginia or Compact Nursing License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Pass a Basic Rhythm test.
