Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a comprehensive liver care ICU assignment, requiring at least 12 months of ICU experience and a VA or compact RN license.

• Work in an intensive care unit specializing in comprehensive liver care and transplant patients
• Assignment includes both day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Environment is a drug and tobacco free workplace
• Natural nail policy is enforced
• Provide critical care to liver care and transplant ICU patients
• Must adhere to a smoke free work environment, including no smoking on campus
• Must comply with the facility's natural nail policy
• Time-off requests must be disclosed at time of application and are subject to approval
• Holidays may be required as part of the schedule
• Fingerprinting may be required for ER and Psych candidates before starting, with start date contingent on results

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 12 months recent ICU nursing experience required
• Transplant ICU experience highly preferred
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school (ACEN or CCNE); diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted
• BSN preferred
• Must not have been employed by VCU Health within the past six to twelve months
