Position Summary
Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first. The LPN/LVN provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, clinic, or region. The LPN/LVN assesses patient health problems and needs, takes vital signs, administers medication, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
The LPN/LVN understands the professional concepts, standards, regulations, and operating standards of the work area and works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, having some latitude over prioritization and timing while working under minimal direction.
- Provide professional nursing care to patients.
- Assess patient health problems and needs.
- Take vital signs and administer medication.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Maintain medical records.
- Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
- Understand and apply professional concepts, standards, regulations, and operating standards.
- Work within defined parameters, identifying work expectations and quality standards with latitude for prioritization and timing.
- Current licensure as an LPN or LVN.
- Patient‑facing role in Humana’s Tuberculosis (TB) screening program; must be screened for TB if selected.
- Excellent customer service.
- Strong clinical background.
- Strong sense of engagement to be a team player.
- Experience in a fast‑paced/high‑volume environment.
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Bilingual.
- Hands‑on professional.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Experience with HEDIS.
- Knowledge of primary care medicine requirements (state specific).
- Working knowledge of clinical operations.

Pay Range: $48,900 – $66,200 per year (based on skills, experience, and location).
