Night shift: 19:00 - 07:00, requiring 4 weekend days (Saturday and Sunday).
Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic Oncology unit where you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing treatment. The unit is equipped with 24 beds and features a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5-6 to 1. Utilize advanced communication technology with the use of iMobile phones to enhance coordination with staff, patients, and physicians.
Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive patient care in an Oncology setting.
- Perform hourly safety rounds and engage in bedside shift reporting.
- Utilize the Meditech documentation system effectively.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including 2 Patient Care Technicians per shift and 1 Unit Secretary during the day shift.
- Medical/Surgical nursing background is essential.
- No specific certifications required for this position.
