Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a comprehensive liver care ICU assignment, requiring at least 12 months of ICU experience and a VA or compact RN license.

Job Details

• Work in an intensive care unit specializing in comprehensive liver care and transplant patients,

• Assignment includes both day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week,

• Locals are accepted at the same rate,

• Environment is a drug and tobacco free workplace,

• Natural nail policy is enforced,

Job Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 12 months recent ICU nursing experience required,

• Transplant ICU experience highly preferred,

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school (ACEN or CCNE); diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted,

• BSN preferred,

• Must not have been employed by VCU Health within the past six to twelve months,

• Provide critical care to liver care and transplant ICU patients,

• Must adhere to a smoke free work environment, including no smoking on campus,

• Must comply with the facility's natural nail policy,

• Time-off requests must be disclosed at time of application and are subject to approval,

• Holidays may be required as part of the schedule,

• Fingerprinting may be required for ER and Psych candidates before starting, with start date contingent on results,
