THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking an experienced Marketing Director who will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that position Warren Whitney as a trusted authority in the areas we serve our clients. This role owns the firm's external brand presence, lead-generation efforts, and marketing infrastructure while supporting growth and firm-wide communication.

Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that strengthen Warren Whitney's brand and establish thought leadership across Finance, HR, and Strategy services.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels, campaigns, and communications.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns with a clear focus on lead generation and business development.
- Develop strategies to attract new clients through targeted events, email campaigns, SEO initiatives, collaborations, sponsor ships, and speaking engagements.
- Manage and track the pipeline to ensure all leads are captured, analyzed, and leveraged to improve outcomes.
- Oversee the maintenance of the firm's CRM systems, including regular updating, backing up, and reviewing the data to ensure accurate capturing of the data.
- Curate and distribute all external and internal communications, including monthly newsletters, event invitations, employee bios, press releases, and social media content.
- Oversee video content strategy and production to provide insight into the firm's expertise and culture; manage the firm's You Tube channel.
- Support the development and writing of all proposals for new business opportunities, collaborating closely with consultants and leadership to ensure clarity and alignment with client needs.
- Maintain and update website content to support SEO optimization and ensure current, relevant messaging.
- Analyze Google Analytics and other performance data to identify areas of strength, opportunity, and improvement.
- Partner with third-party consultants to enhance the firm's SEO presence and digital visibility.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar to capture all initiatives and key deadlines.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adjusting strategies based on performance and results.
- Collaborate with creative partners, providing strategic direction and inspiration for special projects.
- Support client and firm participation in award submissions, recognitions, and surveys.
- Plan and manage logistics and communications for firm events, including biannual Leadership Network events, virtual round tables, and co-sponsored events.
The successful Marketing Director candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of balancing big-picture vision with operational detail. They should thrive in a deadline-driven, client-focused environment and be passionate about using multiple techniques to generate interest and leads, cultivate business prospects, and strengthen brand reputation.
An ideal candidate for the Marketing Director role will have the following experience:
- Proven experience (minimum of 5-7 years) in marketing, content creation, and communications, preferably within a professional services firm or consulting environment.
- Significant experience using communication tools including Constant Contact, utilizing CRM systems, and managing content on social media platforms.
- Flexibility to support content creation, updating, and production across multiple platforms and sources, ranging from websites to collateral materials.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, including persuasive expression and effective presentation skills.
- Capability to manage projects independently and/or collaboratively, while adhering to budgets and deadlines.
- Ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with colleagues, clients, referral sources, and community leaders.
