This is an on-site position that requires you to work in our Richmond, VA office – supporting our Richmond, VA and Greenville, SC teams.

We are seeking a Digital Sales Director to serve as Summit Media’s dedicated Townsquare Ignite expert
. As a Summit Media employee, you will champion Ignite’s solutions, partnering with our local sales teams to lead with digital-first strategies, educate and empower colleagues, prospect and secure new digital business, and ensure exceptional results for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive digital growth and strengthen our partnership by delivering industry-leading solutions with outstanding service.
- Act as the digital marketing solutions expert within Summit Media, specializing in Townsquare Ignite offerings.
- Partner with Summit Media Account Executives to develop integrated, digital-first proposals for clients.
- Prospect and secure new digital marketing business through direct selling and by supporting the Summit Media sales team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are set clearly and delivered upon in partnership with Townsquare Ignite fulfillment teams.
- Provide ongoing education and support to the Summit Media sales team to strengthen their ability to sell digital-first solutions confidently.
- Serve as the liaison between Summit Media and Townsquare Ignite, maintaining open communication, resolving challenges, and championing shared goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and evolving best practices in digital advertising to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and effective.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention while identifying opportunities for growth.
- Proven track record of digital sales quota achievement
- Proven track record of selling digital marketing products (Search, Social, Programmatic)
- Proven track record of success in growing new business
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of digital research tools and methodologies
- Superior presentation, interpersonal & communications skills
- Minimum 2 years of digital sales experience
- PowerPoint, Excel experience
