Vice President of Operations
A well-established and growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead plant operations and drive long-term manufacturing strategy. This high-impact role is responsible for building a lean transformation culture, managing operational P&L performance, and delivering operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.

What You’ll Do As Vice President of Operations, you will:- Lead plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvement
- Manage KPIs across production, logistics, purchasing, cost, and labor productivity
- Develop and execute strategies for manufacturing optimization, continuous improvement, and capital utilization
- Drive a lean culture using tools such as 5S + Safety, Kaizen events, TPM, VSM, and leader standard work
- Mentor and empower high-performing teams, fostering accountability, engagement, and operational excellence
- Oversee operational P&L, budgets, and capital projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy
- Support integration of newly acquired businesses and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership
- Proven success leading operations with full P&L responsibility
- Strong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Experience in high-speed, process-driven manufacturing environments with strong quality, safety, and continuous improvement disciplines preferred (e.g., food & beverage, plastics, paper converting, packaging, automotive, or other commercial manufacturing).
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and lead change through hands‑on, transparent leadership
- Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
- A leadership style that motivates, engages, and drives results with integrity
