YOUR ROLE AS A MATERIAL HANDLERThe Material Handler is responsible for supporting the fabrication shop with various duties such as loading and unloading steel from trucks, transferring steel to the production table, and using a forklift as needed.
Daily Responsibilities- Operate forklift as needed
- Perform rigging work including jacking and staking
- Load and unload steel from trucks
- Load steel to transfer tables to feed production line
- Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop
- Must have experience with overhead crane
- Experience using and operation a forklift is required
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating effectively with co‑workers, clients, and supervisors
- Work in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures
- Must be flexible to work any schedule needed, including overtime and Saturdays as required
- Basic math skills required
- Must tolerate hot and cold working environments
- Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours
- Must be organized and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
