3rd shift Shipping/Receiving
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping/Receiving Specialist. This role requires working Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM. The candidate will initially focus on kitting using RF scanners and will then be trained in shipping and receiving processes. This includes managing inventory systems, communicating with carriers, and ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
Responsibilities- Order picking of components from the warehouse to deliver to production.
- Receive, sort, and label packages, then put them away in the warehouse.
- Consolidate inventory within the warehouse and perform spot/cycle counts.
- Execute quality checks and inspections as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including goods and paperwork.
- Continuously build job knowledge through execution of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Participate in team performance and improvement meetings.
- Observe all company policies and complete other assigned tasks.
- Utilize ERP systems to check in shipments and track inventory.
- Perform inventory counts and troubleshoot problems.
- Operate forklifts to move products through the facility and ensure materials are delivered to correct inventory locations upon receipt.
- Experience with stand-up forklift operations and willingness to train on sit-down forklifts.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Excel tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with WMS, RF scanners, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including SAP and Fed Ex.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must complete an 8-hour forklift recertification training.
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks, such as walking around the warehouse to locate products.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of RICHMOND, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
